.net Framework Technologies

Competition .net Framework Technologies

The Microsoft .NET Framework is a software framework that can be installed on computers running Microsoft Windows operating systems. It includes a large library of coded solutions to common programming problems and a virtual machine that manages the execution of programs written specifically for the framework. The .NET Framework supports multiple programming languages in a manner that allows language interoperability, whereby each language can utilize code written in other languages; in particular, the .NET library is available to all the programming languages that .NET encompasses. The .NET Framework is a Microsoft offering and is intended to be used by most new applications created for the Windows platform. In order to be able to develop and not just run applications for the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0, it is required to have Visual Studio 2010 installed on your computer.

The framework's Base Class Library provides a large range of features including user interface, data access, database connectivity, cryptography, web application development, numeric algorithms, and network communications. The class library is used by programmers, who combine it with their own code to produce applications.

Global certification
The .NET Framework family also includes two versions for mobile or embedded device use. A reduced version of the framework, the .NET Compact Framework, is available on Windows CE platforms, including Windows Mobile devices such as smart phones. Additionally, the .NET Micro Framework is targeted at severely resource-constrained devices.Programs written for the .NET Framework execute in a software environment that manages the program's runtime requirements. Also part of the .NET Framework, this runtime environment is known as the Common Language Runtime (CLR). The CLR provides the appearance of an application virtual machine so that programmers need not consider the capabilities of the specific CPU that will execute the program. The CLR also provides other important services such as security, memory management, and exception handling. The class library and the CLR together constitute the .NET Framework.Version 3.0 of the .NET Framework is included with Windows Server 2008 and Windows Vista. Version 3.5 is included with Windows 7, and can also be installed on Windows XP and the Windows Server 2003 family of operating systems.[2] On April 12, 2010, .NET Framework 4 was released alongside Visual Studio 2010.

Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS)
MCTS Overview
The Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) certifications provide the foundation for Microsoft Certification. These certifications are designed to validate your skills on the features and functionality of key technologies. You can show your depth of knowledge in one specific technology, earn multiple MCTS certifications to show breadth across different products, or build on the MCTS to earn a Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification.

MCTS candidate profile

MCTS candidates are capable of implementing, building, troubleshooting, and debugging a particular Microsoft technology.

Why get certified?

Earning a Microsoft Certification validates your proven experience and knowledge in using Microsoft products and solutions. Designed to be relevant in today's rapidly changing IT marketplace, Microsoft Certifications help you utilize evolving technologies, fine-tune your troubleshooting skills, and improve your job satisfaction.

Whether you are new to technology, changing jobs, or a seasoned IT professional, becoming certified demonstrates to customers, peers, and employers that you are committed to advancing your skills and taking on greater challenges. In addition, certification provides you with access to exclusive Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) resources and benefits, including opportunities to connect with a vast, global network of MCPs.

Cisco Workshop at Janakpuri Centre

Cisco Workshop at Janakpuri Centre

A seminar of Cisco CCNA was held at Janakpuri on 17th July headed by Nitin Nayyar (CCNA Certified). In Cisco Workshop we covered some topics related to Cisco Like SDM , XMODEM Recovery Process, all Routing Configuration & Troubleshooting , IPv4 & IPV6 And WAN Technologies.

Cisco SDM is an intuitive, Web-based device-management tool for Cisco IOS® Software-based routers. The Cisco SDM simplifies router and security configuration through smart wizards, which help customers and Cisco partners quickly and easily deploy, configure, and monitor a Cisco router without requiring knowledge of the command-line interface (CLI). The Cisco SDM is supported on a wide range of Cisco routers and Cisco IOS Software releases.

Xmodem can be used on a group of routers and is used in disaster recovery situations where the router has no valid Cisco IOS software or bootflash image to boot from and hence, only boots up in ROMmon. This procedure can also be used where there are no Trivial File Transfer Protocol (TFTP) servers or network connections, and a direct PC connection (or through a modem connection) to the router's console is the only viable option. Because this procedure relies on the console speed of the router and the serial port of the PC, it can take a long time to download an image. For example, downloading Cisco IOS Software Release 12.1(16) IP Plus image to a Cisco 1600 Series Router using a speed of 38400 bps takes approximately 25 minutes.

Preparing Your Network for the Future

Ipv6 is a new IP protocol mandated by the federal government for compliance across all organizations, It is designed to replace IPv4, the Internet protocol currently deployed and used most extensively throughout the world.

The benefits of IPv6 include:
  • Simplified packet header for routing efficiency
  • Mandatory IP Security (IPSec) implementation for all IPv6 devices
  • Improved support for mobile IP and mobile computing devices
  • Enhanced multicast support with increased addresses and efficient mechanisms

Big Security hole found in Windows OS

Big Bug found in
Windows Server 2008
by Dinesh Arya a student of
HCL CDC Janakpuri

A major breakthrough has been occurred at Janakpuri’s HCL CDC in aspect of Windows Security System. Dinesh Arya a student of HCL CDC Janakpuri Centre found World's most favourable OS MS-Windows handicap regarding system security, Dinesh believe that he could crack the MS-Windows security system with the help of an ordinary Windows installation Disc. He could crack the password following windows by using the installation disc of :
  • Windows XP password using Windows XP CD
  • Windows Vista Password using Windows Vista CD
  • Windows Server 2003 and server 2008 using server 2003 or 2008 CD
  • Windows 7 password by using Windows 7 CD
